Swirls and Blooms is inspired by the meeting point of motion and nature — where flowing resin swirls slowly unfold into a flower-like form. Layers of ocean blues, soft greens, and delicate white currents move organically across the surface, creating the impression of petals forming mid-flow.
At the center, hand-placed gold leaf settles like pollen at the heart of the bloom, adding warmth and contrast to the cool, fluid tones surrounding it. The swirling patterns give each piece a sense of movement, as if the flower is still opening.
These comissioned coasters were created intuitively, allowing the resin to guide the final shape and pattern. No two blooms or swirls can ever be repeated, making this piece truly one of a kind.
